How to Create and Recover Mobile Wallet

Recover using a previously issued Talken recovery document.

The recovery document issuance service has been discontinued. You can only use this method if you have a previously issued recovery document.

You must be logged in to the Talken account that created the wallet with the recovery document to use this option.

Start Wallet Recovery

Click the ’+’ floating button on the app main page, then click ‘New wallet’.

Select Talken recovery document

Click Import existing wallet, then select Talken recovery document.

Scan Recovery Code

After PIN registration and biometric selection, scan the wallet recovery code at the top of the recovery document.

The recovery code is attached to the verification email you received when creating your wallet.

Enter Recovery Password

If you enter the password correctly, wallet recovery is complete. Click ENTER to use your wallet normally.

Password must be 10-32 characters including English, numbers, and special characters.

Recovery Complete

Wallet recovery is complete. You can now use your wallet in the Talken app.

Create a new wallet by generating a new mnemonic (seed) phrase.

Create a New Wallet

Click the ’+’ floating button on the app main page, then click ‘New wallet’.

Select Create a new Wallet

Click Create a new Wallet.

Set PIN and Biometrics

Enter the PIN number twice.

After PIN registration, you can choose whether to use biometric authentication (fingerprint, Face ID, etc.).

PIN is essential for wallet use. Set it as a number only you can remember and never expose it to others.

Backup Mnemonic Phrase

Mnemonic is used for wallet recovery. Press the OK button to create a mnemonic. Make sure to write down the generated mnemonic and keep it safe.

The seed phrase is randomly created when you create a wallet and is provided only to you. If you lose your seed phrase, there is no way to recover your account. Please make sure to write it down on paper and keep it safe.

Select the seed phrases in the correct order and press OK.

Wallet Creation Complete

Wallet creation is complete. You can now use your wallet in the Talken app.

Recover your wallet using a mnemonic phrase from Talken Wallet, or register a new wallet using a mnemonic phrase from an external wallet like MetaMask.

Click the ’+’ floating button on the app main page, then click ‘New wallet’.

Select Import existing wallet

Click Import existing wallet, then select Mnemonic Phrase.

Set PIN and Biometrics

Register and confirm your PIN. You can then choose whether to use biometric authentication (fingerprint, Face ID, etc.).

PIN is essential for wallet use. Set it as a private number and never show it to anyone.

Enter Mnemonic Phrase

Enter the mnemonic (seed) phrase from your wallet or external wallet exactly and click ‘Confirm’.

The seed phrase is randomly created when you create a wallet and is provided only to you. If you lose your seed phrase, there is no way to recover your account. Please write it down on paper and keep it safe.

Select the seed phrases in the correct order and press OK.

Mnemonic phrases consist of 12, 15, 18, 21, or 24 words. Registration will fail if the format is incorrect.

Registration/Recovery Complete

Wallet registration or recovery is complete. If you used a mnemonic from an external wallet, you can check your existing balance in Talken Wallet.
